Description

You can get creative with the vegetables and not limit yourself to just apples and carrots; feel free to add bell peppers, baby corn, green beans, and other vegetables to the pan — it will only enhance the flavor of the dish.

Ingredients

  • Pork Neck 20 oz
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Green Apples 2 pieces
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Thyme 2 sprigs
  • Fresh Mint 2 sprigs
  • Safflower Oil ½ cup

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the pork into pieces approximately 4x4x4 cm, place it in a bowl, pour soy sauce over it, and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Core the apples and cut them into large wedges. Peel the carrot and cut it into sticks about 4 cm long.

Step 3

Peel the onion and cut it into large petals.

Step 4

Fry each vegetable separately in a large amount of oil over high heat. Place the fried vegetables in a separate bowl without mixing, so the pieces remain whole, fried on the outside, and slightly crispy on the inside.

Step 5

Fry the meat last in the same pan, also uncovered, over high heat for 5 minutes, then cover with a lid and reduce the heat, frying for another 3 minutes.

Step 6

Turn off the heat, add the vegetables to the meat, season with pepper, sprinkle with thyme, and mix.

Step 7

Garnish the plate with mint leaves when serving.
