Pork Chops with Crispy Peas and Mint Syrup
Ingredients
- Campbell's Beef Broth ½ cup
- Brown Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Bourbon 6 tablespoons
- Champagne Vinegar ¼ teaspoon
- Pork Skewers 2 pieces
- Spices to taste
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Snap Peas 5 oz
- Fresh Mint 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the broth, half of the bourbon, sugar, and vinegar in a small bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Season the meat with salt, pepper, and spices. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the meat. Cook for 4 minutes on each side. Transfer to plates.
Step 3
Pour the broth mixture into the skillet and bring to a boil. Add the peas and cook for about 2 minutes until they remain slightly crispy. Place the peas on top of the meat. Pour the remaining bourbon into the skillet, increase the heat, and cook for 3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Stir in the chopped mint and drizzle over the meat with peas.
