Description

Meat lovers will enjoy this recipe for pork chops fried in a beer batter. You know how amazing beer enhances the flavor of meat. And these chops are even double-stacked, with filling in between.

Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin 20 oz
  • Hard Cheese 0 oz
  • Parsley 3 sprigs
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 15 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour 1 cup
  • Beer ½ cup
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the pork and dry it with cloth or paper towels. Cut across the grain into slices about 10-12 mm thick. Tenderize well on both sides by placing the meat between layers of plastic wrap to avoid unsightly splatters.

Step 2

Grate the cheese and chop the parsley.

Step 3

Prepare the batter by first mixing the flour with the beer, then adding the egg yolks and mixing again. Whip the egg whites with salt and gently fold them into the batter.

Step 4

Lay half of the pork slices on a cutting board. Season each slice with salt and pepper, sprinkle with cheese and herbs, then cover with a second slice and press down lightly to secure them together.

Step 5

Heat a skillet with plenty of oil. Dip the chops in the batter and fry over medium or slightly lower heat for 5-7 minutes on each side.
