Description
Pork chop marinated in sweet and sour sauce with broccoli
Ingredients
- Pork tenderloin 20 oz
- Broccoli 5 oz
- Rosemary 1 sprig
- Dijon Mustard 1 teaspoon
- Soy Sauce 5 fl oz
- Lime Juice 1 teaspoon
- Honey 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Garlic 1 clove
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, prepare the marinade: strip the leaves from the rosemary sprig and chop them a bit; in a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, mustard, lime juice, and rosemary; crush the garlic clove into the marinade, you can even leave the skin on; season the marinade with salt and pepper to your liking. If someone prefers it spicier, you can add some chili pepper or a few drops of Tabasco.
Step 2
Cut the loin into pieces about 3 centimeters thick, pour the marinade over them, and marinate for about an hour.
Step 3
Grill the marinated loin for 3 minutes on each side, turning it 90 degrees after one and a half minutes. Then, place it in an oven preheated to 300°F for 5 minutes to let the meat rest.
Step 4
Divide the broccoli into florets and blanch in salted water for about 5 minutes to retain its color.
