Description

Pork Chop in the Oven

Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin 2 pieces
  • Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Lemon-Pepper Mix ½ teaspoon
  • Dried Chamomile ½ teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the pork chops under cold water and remove moisture with a paper towel.

Step 2

Make 3-4 cuts across the grain in the meat with a small knife. Pour soy sauce mixed with a teaspoon of spices over the meat. Let it marinate for 3-4 hours at room temperature or for 6-8 hours in the cool of the refrigerator.

Step 3

Trim excess fat from the sides, cut it into squares, and place them in the cuts made so that the fat sticks out from both sides of the pork (this will make the meat much juicier).

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 500°F (500 degrees Fahrenheit), place a rack in the oven and a baking tray underneath it (if there is no rack, just use the baking tray). The meat for the oven should be at room temperature, so if you marinated it in the cool, let it sit in warmth before baking. Allow the marinade to drain and place the steaks on the rack. Position the rack on the top shelf of the oven.

Step 5

Bake the pork chops for 25-30 minutes depending on the thickness of the piece. The meat should develop a golden brown crust, and the bone should darken.
