Description

This recipe is taken from a culinary magazine.

Ingredients

  • Pork Blood 30 oz
  • Onion 1 head
  • Honey 1 tablespoon
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce 5 tablespoons
  • Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

First, prepare the marinade.

Step 2

To do this, mix the soy sauce, oil, honey, and lemon juice.

Step 3

Thoroughly wash the meat and dry it well with a paper towel.

Step 4

Generously salt and coat the meat with the prepared marinade, rubbing it in well (as if massaging the meat).

Step 5

Slice the onion into thin rings and place it around the meat on all sides.

Step 6

Put the meat in a dish, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it marinate at room temperature for 2–3 hours.

Step 7

Then take several sheets of foil, remove the onion from the meat, and place the meat on the foil (with the matte side facing in, towards the food).

Step 8

Pour the marinade that the meat was prepared in into a bowl and set it aside; it will be useful later. Wrap each layer of foil tightly.

Step 9

The meat should be sealed tightly.

Step 10

Place the meat in the foil envelope on a baking sheet and put the pork in the oven.

Step 11

Bake at a temperature of 390°F for one hour.

Step 12

Then unfold the foil; if a lot of liquid has formed, drain it.

Step 13

Using a silicone brush, thoroughly coat the meat with the reserved marinade and brown it under the top heat (broiler) for about 10 minutes.

Step 14

Then turn off the oven, wrap the meat back in foil, and let it rest in the turned-off oven for about 30 minutes.

Step 15

The fragrant, tender, juicy meat is ready to be served.
