Pollock with Onions
Ingredients
- Pollock fillet 5 oz
- Dry White Wine 0 fl oz
- Herbes de Provence 1 teaspoon
- Spanish onions 5 oz
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Allspice berries 2 pieces
- Ocean salt to taste
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the fillet into cubes.
Step 2
Chop the onion coarsely.
Step 3
Drizzle the fillet with wine.
Step 4
Heat the butter and olive oil in a skillet.
Step 5
Add the onion and sauté for 1 minute.
Step 6
Stir. Add the bay leaf and allspice.
Step 7
Add the fish and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Step 8
Add the herb mix and reduce the heat to medium.
Step 9
Stir and cover with a lid. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
Step 10
Remove the lid and add salt. Stir.
Step 11
Remove the bay leaf and allspice. Transfer to a plate and serve.
