Peppers Stuffed with Turkey (Bibiar Dolmasi)
Ingredients
- Salt to taste
- Onion 2 pieces
- Turkey 20 oz
- Rice 1 tablespoon
- Orange Bell Peppers 8 pieces
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Dill 1 bunch
- Fresh Mint 1 bunch
- Cilantro 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Matsoni 1 cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the peppers, cut off the tops (keep them), and clean the insides.
Step 2
Pass the turkey through a meat grinder along with the onion and herbs. Mix the rice with the minced meat.
Step 3
In a deep pan, sauté the peppers in butter, then pour boiling water until 2/3 full and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Step 4
Chop the garlic and mix it with the matsoni.
Step 5
Serve hot with the sauce.
