Peppers baked in aromatic sauce
Ingredients
- Sweet Pepper 4 pieces
- Red Wine Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Capers 1 tablespoon
- Sugar ½ teaspoon
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Fresh Mint 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1 tablespoon
- Black Cumin (Cumin) 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the sweet peppers into 4 pieces, remove the seeds, and discard the membranes.
Step 2
Bake skin-side up until it starts to blacken. Place the peppers in a tightly sealed bag or cover with paper and let sit for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Peel off the skin and cut into strips.
Step 4
Mix the remaining ingredients and add the warm peppers. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
