- Green Peas 15 oz
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Lard 0 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Chicken Broth 15 fl oz
- Parsley to taste
- Dill to taste
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the peas and soak them in cold salted water for 2 hours.
Step 2
Rinse the meat, cut it into 20-gram slices, and fry in a deep skillet with melted lard for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Wash and finely chop the parsley and dill, leaving a few sprigs for garnish.
Step 4
Wash, peel, and julienne the carrots.
Step 5
Peel, wash, and slice the onion into half rings.
Step 6
Add the carrots and onion to the meat, fry for 5 minutes, then pour in the broth, add the peas, pepper, dried basil, and cook until done.
Step 7
Serve the porridge on a plate, sprinkle with herbs, and garnish with sprigs of dill and parsley.
