Pasta with Zucchini and Shrimp
Ingredients
- Courgette ½ piece
- Shrimp 7 pieces
- Spaghetti 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Fresh basil leaves 1 teaspoon
- Garlic 1 clove
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Butter 1 teaspoon
- Cheese Spread to taste
- Basil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut half of a small zucchini into medium cubes and add it to a pan with olive oil, butter, and a clove of garlic. Sauté for 10–15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in salted water.
Step 2
Once the zucchini is sautéed, add the shrimp and dried basil. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 3 minutes if the shrimp are fresh, and 5 minutes if the shrimp are frozen.
Step 3
Add the spaghetti to the pan along with a tablespoon of pasta water. Cook for another 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Serve in a wide, deep plate. You can top with grated cheese and garnish with fresh basil.
