
Pasta with Canned Beans

Description
You can use red or white beans, whichever you prefer. You can also add a couple of cloves of finely chopped garlic to taste. It turns out very tasty, home-style. Very calorie-dense!
Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) 10 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Canned Baby Beets 1 can
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Dill to taste
- Parsley to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the pasta in salted water until cooked.
Step 2
Cut the carrot into strips and sauté in butter for 3–5 minutes. Add the diced onion. Sauté for another 3–5 minutes. Then add the tomato paste, beans, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the vegetables to the hot pasta, mix, and keep on the heat for 3–5 minutes.
