Pasta with Bacon and Chili
Ingredients
- Spaghetti 15 oz
- Bacon 5 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice 0 oz
- Beans in tomato sauce 20 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese to taste
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the spaghetti in salted water, drain, and dry.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet and add finely chopped bacon. Fry for 5 minutes, then add the sliced bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Reduce the heat and add the minced garlic and chili, and sauté for about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add a little water or wine and serve by placing the sauce on top of the hot spaghetti. Generously sprinkle with Parmesan and basil.
