Pan-Seared Amur Steak
Ingredients
- White Amur 5 oz
- Onion ½ piece
- Watercress 3 stems
- Olive Oil 1½ tablespoons
- White Pepper (whole) 0.3 teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper 0.3 teaspoons
- Mild Chili Spice 0.3 teaspoons
- Ocean salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into large half-rings.
Step 2
Chop the watercress coarsely.
Step 3
Place the steak in the heated oil in the pan. Season with salt.
Step 4
Once the bottom side is browned, flip it over and reduce the heat to medium.
Step 5
Season with white pepper.
Step 6
Then add black pepper.
Step 7
After 3 minutes, flip it over.
Step 8
Season with herbes de Provence.
Step 9
Cover with a lid.
Step 10
After 5–6 minutes, add the onion and season with chili pepper. Slightly increase the heat.
Step 11
After 3–4 minutes, once the onion is browned, transfer to a plate and sprinkle with herbs.
