Paella with Chicken Legs
Ingredients
- Chicken bones 4 pieces
- Long-Grain Rice 5 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 10 oz
- Baking Tomatoes 10 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Garlic 0 oz
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Chicken Broth 3 cups
- Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Paprika 2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the skin from the chicken legs and cut them in half.
Step 2
Chop the onion and garlic. Peel the tomatoes and dice the tomatoes and bell pepper.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a pan. Sauté the chicken legs until lightly golden brown, then add the onion and garlic. Stir and sauté for another 3–5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes and bell pepper. Sauté the chicken legs with the vegetables until almost all the moisture has evaporated.
Step 5
Add salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.
Step 6
Add the rice. Sauté for a couple more minutes.
Step 7
Pour the broth over the paella. Simmer on low heat for 25–30 minutes, remembering to stir occasionally.
