Oven-baked trout steak
Ingredients
- Trout 2 pieces
- Rosemary 2 sprigs
- Lemon ½ pieces
- Salt 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Dissolve 70 grams of salt in 1 liter of cold water.
Step 3
Place the fish steaks in water and leave for 1 hour.
Step 4
Cut the rosemary sprigs in half.
Step 5
Rinse the fish and pat it dry with paper towels.
Step 6
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and brush it with olive oil. Place the steaks on the tray.
Step 7
Place half a sprig of rosemary under and on top of the steak.
Step 8
Bake the trout steaks for 7–10 minutes at 390°F.
Step 9
Season the cooked steaks with pepper.
Step 10
Serve the trout steak with a wedge of lemon.
