Description

If you have a mix of dried Italian herbs on hand, which usually includes oregano, basil, and thyme, it would be a great idea to sprinkle it on the fish on both sides after it has been stuffed with lemon and basil.

Ingredients

  • Dorado 1 piece
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Step 2

Clean and gut the fish, rinse it thoroughly, and pat it dry. Brush a small amount of olive oil on one half of a large sheet of foil. Place the fish on that half, season it with salt and pepper on both sides, and rub it with olive oil.

Step 3

Slice half a lemon into thin rounds and squeeze the juice from the other half. Generously drizzle the fish with the lemon juice, and place the lemon slices along with a sprig of fresh basil inside the fish's cavity. Wrap the fish tightly in foil and place it in the oven. Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
