
Oven-Baked Cabbage with Bacon and Parmesan

Description
Simple, delicious, quick, and just the kind of dish that will impress your guests. It takes a maximum of half an hour to prepare, and the cabbage steaks should be enjoyed hot, before the bacon becomes greasy.
Ingredients
- White Cabbage 1 piece
- Parmesan Cheese 5 oz
- Bacon 5 oz
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Rosemary 1 sprig
- Ground Dried Garlic 1 tablespoon
- Chili Flakes 1 tablespoon
- Parsley to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Remove any wilted and dirty leaves from the cabbage. Cut into 2 cm thick slices.
Step 3
Remove the leaves from a sprig of rosemary and chop them finely.
Step 4
Finely chop the parsley leaves.
Step 5
In a bowl, combine olive oil, dried garlic, crushed rosemary, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Step 6
Line a baking sheet with foil and grease it with vegetable oil. Arrange the cabbage on the sheet. Generously rub the cabbage slices with the spice mixture on both sides. Bake the steaks for 35 minutes at 390°F.
Step 7
Place the slices of bacon in a cold, dry skillet and turn on medium heat. Cook until golden brown, flipping occasionally.
Step 8
Drain the cooked bacon on paper towels and chop it finely.
Step 9
Remove the baking tray from the oven. Immediately sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top so that it has time to melt.
Step 10
Garnish with crispy bacon and chopped parsley.
