  • Chicken Eggs 7 pieces
  • Canned Artichokes 1 piece
  • Sweet Pepper 1 piece
  • Parmesan Cheese 0 oz
  • Basil leaves 10 pieces
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a large bowl, lightly beat 5 egg yolks and 2 whole eggs.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until frothy. Add the whites to the yolks and gently mix. Add the artichokes, pepper, half of the cheese, basil, salt, and pepper.

Preheat the grill.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick skillet. Add the butter. Once the butter has melted, pour in the omelet mixture. Spread it evenly.

Step 5

Cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown on the bottom.

Step 6

Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, then place the skillet under the grill and cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 7

Transfer the omelet to a cutting board or plate. Cut into wedges and serve.
