Octopus fried with vegetables

Ingredients

  • Octopus 25 oz
  • Carrot ½ piece
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Parsley 5 stems
  • Dill 5 stems
  • Soy Sauce to taste
  • Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion 6 heads

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Clean the octopus, remove the skin, clean the suckers, get rid of the slime, and rinse under cold water. Soak in water for about 10 minutes. After that, chop into pieces and rinse.

Step 2

Chop the bell pepper, onion, and garlic into cubes.

Step 3

Fry in a large skillet without a lid until the onion is golden brown.

Step 4

Add the chopped octopuses to the skillet.

Step 5

Fry until the octopuses turn golden.

Step 6

Add finely chopped parsley and dill. You can add them in step 3, but then the herbs will be soft.

Step 7

Add lemon juice and soy sauce to taste. Just don't overdo it with the soy sauce; you only need a little.
