  • Onion 1 head
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

  • Breadcrumbs to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Take 100 ml of hot water, which should be boiled again. Soak the oat flakes in this water for half an hour. As soon as the flakes start to swell properly, add the onion, which should be grated on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Peel the boiled potato and then grate it on a fine grater to add to the onion and flakes. Add a clove of garlic, pressed through a garlic press. The mixture is then mashed with a potato masher. A food processor can also be used. Add salt and pepper. Shape the patties, which should be thoroughly coated in breadcrumbs before frying.

Step 3

Pour vegetable oil into a skillet, heat it, and place the patties in the pan to fry them over high heat until golden brown. Cook the patties until done, covering them with a lid. At this point, reduce the heat.
