Mussels Marinara with Linguine Pasta
Ingredients
- Pasta shells 5 lbs
- Tomatoes 15 oz
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta 15 oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Chopped Sage Leaves 5 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Basil 0 oz
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Ocean salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the onion and garlic, sauté for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the tomatoes and the remaining ingredients, except for the herbs. Cook for another 5 minutes. Then add the mussels.
Step 4
Cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes until the shells open.
Step 5
Meanwhile, boil the linguine pasta.
Step 6
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the mussels to serving deep plates over the pasta. Drizzle with the sauce in which the mussels were cooked.
Step 7
Top with basil and parsley.
