- Mussels 20 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Onion 1 head
- Herbs 0 oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Butter 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Parmesan Cheese 5 oz
- Cream 22% 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a preheated skillet, add butter and olive oil, and sauté the onion until golden brown.
Step 2
Add the wine. Stirring, let the alcohol evaporate for about 2 minutes over low heat.
Step 3
Add the cream and, stirring vigorously, bring the mixture to a thick consistency (about 3–4 minutes). Turn off the heat, add herbs, salt, pepper, and garlic. The sauce is ready.
Step 4
In a baking dish, layer the mussels and sauce alternately. Top with grated cheese. Place in the oven for 20 minutes.
