Mushrooms in Sizzling Garlic Butter
Ingredients
- Pickled Chanterelles 15 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Butter 5 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pat the mushrooms dry with a paper towel and separate the stems (do not throw them away!).
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the garlic and butter, add the parsley and lemon juice. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Step 3
Place the mushrooms cap-side down in a baking dish and distribute the stems among them.
Step 4
Pour a little garlic butter into each cap and brush the remaining mixture over the rest.
Step 5
Place the dish on the top rack of the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Step 6
Serve immediately from the oven with plenty of crusty bread.
