Mushroom Tartare
Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms 80 pieces
- Onion 0 oz
- Butter 1 piece
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 0 oz
- Mixed Ground Peppers ½ teaspoon
- Ocean salt to taste
- Mayonnaise 1½ tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the mushrooms into small cubes.
Step 2
In a heavy-bottomed skillet, heat the butter and olive oil.
Step 3
Add the mushrooms to the skillet.
Step 4
Chop the onion into small pieces.
Step 5
After 2 minutes, add the onion to the mushrooms. Stir.
Step 6
After another 2 minutes, reduce the heat to medium. Season with the mixed peppers and stir.
Step 7
Chop the garlic into small pieces.
Step 8
After 5 minutes, add the garlic. Stir.
Step 9
After 2 minutes, add salt. Reduce the heat a bit more.
Step 10
Add the mayonnaise. Stir.
Step 11
After 1 minute, remove from heat.
Step 12
Pack the mushrooms into a small bowl.
Step 13
Invert the bowl with the mushrooms onto a plate to form the tartare. Done!
