- Miso Paste 4 tablespoons
- Sake 4 tablespoons
- Mirin 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 1½ tablespoons
- Smoked haddock fillet 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together the miso, sake, mirin, soy sauce, and sugar. Pour the mixture into a plastic bag, add the fish, seal tightly, and mix well. Refrigerate overnight.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
Step 3
Place the fish in a pan and bake in the oven for a few minutes until cooked through, depending on the thickness of the fish.
Step 4
Then turn on the broiler and brown the pieces for 1-3 minutes until golden brown.
