Millet with Vegetables
Ingredients
- Millet 0.6 cups
- Parsley leaves 5 oz
- Cucumbers 2 pieces
- Tomato 1 piece
- Radishes 4 pieces
- Onions 3 heads
- Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the millet in a medium-sized pot, set it over medium heat, and cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
Step 2
Add ½ cup of water and bring it to a boil again.
Step 3
Now reduce the heat to medium, cover with a lid.
Step 4
Constantly taste the millet; it should be soft.
Step 5
Mix the cooked millet with parsley, cucumber, tomato, radishes, green onions, lemon juice, oil, and add ¾ cup of salt, with pepper to taste.
