Ingredients
- Millet 10 oz
- Milk 25 fl oz
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Pitted Wild Apricots 5 oz
- Sugar 4 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the prunes, cover with 720 ml of water, and heat on high power for 8 minutes.
Step 2
Drain the liquid and slice the prunes into thin strips.
Step 3
Rinse the millet first with warm water, then with hot water, place it in a deep microwave-safe container, cover with the drained liquid, and cook on high power for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Then drain the liquid and add milk to the grains.
Step 5
Add sugar and salt and cook for another 4 minutes.
Step 6
Reduce power to medium and heat the porridge for 6 minutes.
Step 7
Let the finished porridge sit covered for 15 minutes, add butter and prunes, stir, and serve.
