Ingredients

  • Onion 1 head
  • Lean Beef 20 oz
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Sweet Pepper 1 piece
  • Red Long Chili Peppers 5 oz
  • Red Canned Beans 20 oz
  • Canned Corn 10 oz
  • Mild Chili Spice 6 teaspoons
  • Dried Chamomile 1 tablespoon
  • Ground Cumin 2 spoons
  • Baking Tomatoes 30 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
  • Parsley to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sauté the ground beef, stirring, for 5–6 minutes.

Step 2

Add finely chopped onion, minced garlic, diced green or red bell pepper, chili, red beans, and corn to the ground meat, and continue to simmer.

Step 3

Add chili powder, cumin, marjoram, and crushed tomatoes along with their juice. Season the dish with salt and pepper, reduce the heat, and simmer covered for 20–30 minutes until slightly thickened.

Step 4

Remove from heat, stir in the parsley and half of the cheese, and let it simmer. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and garnish with chopped parsley.
