Ingredients

  • Ground meat 20 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • White bread 2 pieces
  • Cheese Spread 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 2 spoons
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Herbs to taste
  • Spices to taste
  • Onion 1 head

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the bread in water or milk, then squeeze out the excess liquid. Mix the minced meat with the bread, add grated onion, an egg, salt, and pepper.

Step 2

Cut the cheese into cubes, about 1x1 cm. From the prepared minced meat, form small balls, pressing each in the palm of your hand to create a small patty. Place a cube of cheese in the center and roll the patty into a ball, so the cheese is enclosed inside the meatball.

Step 3

Place the prepared cheese meatballs on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven for about 15-20 minutes at 390°F.

Step 4

For the sauce, sauté finely chopped onion, then add tomato paste, flour, salt, and pepper. Cook for about three minutes, then add herbs.

Step 5

Before serving, drizzle the meatballs with sauce.
