Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
  • Lean Beef 20 oz
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
  • Tomatoes 2 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
  • White Pepper (whole) ¼ teaspoon
  • Ground Cinnamon ¾ teaspoon
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Water 2 cups

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the ground beef, 1 chopped onion, black pepper, 0.5 teaspoon of cinnamon, and half a bunch of parsley in a bowl. Mix well. Form into meatballs. Arrange the meatballs in a baking dish, approximately 30x24 cm.

Step 2

Top with slices of potato, then onion, sweet pepper, and tomatoes, sliced into rounds.

Step 3

Pour water into a pot, add tomato paste, garlic, white pepper, and 0.25 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix well. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.

Step 4

Pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs and vegetables and place in a preheated oven at 390°F. Bake for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are soft.

Step 5

Garnish with parsley before serving.
