Meatballs Baked in Yogurt
Ingredients
- Ground meat 20 oz
- Spanish onions 1 head
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Chopped Sage Leaves ½ cup
- Dried Rosemary 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Red Wine Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Natural Yogurt 1½ cups
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the meat, onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Form meatballs about 5 centimeters in diameter and place them in the baking dish, baking for about 30 minutes.
Step 5
After 15 minutes, turn them over.
Step 6
Mix the yogurt, eggs, and the remaining tablespoon of vinegar. Pour this mixture over the meatballs.
Step 7
Place in the oven for 15–20 minutes.
Step 8
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
