Ingredients
- Meat 20 oz
- Potato 35 oz
- Sweet Red Onion 2 heads
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Tomato Puree 3 spoons
- Bay leaf 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil 3 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the meat (chuck, shoulder cut, or neck) and cut it into cube-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then sauté in a pan with oil.
Step 2
After frying is complete, add finely chopped onion, sprinkle the meat with flour, and lightly sauté everything together.
Step 3
Place the prepared meat in a pot, cover it with 2-3 cups of broth or water, add tomato paste and a bay leaf, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours.
Step 4
Serve the goulash with fried or boiled potatoes, garnished with finely chopped parsley or dill.
