Meat Baked with Eggplants
Ingredients
- Eggplants 3 pieces
- Chocolate eggs 6 pieces
- Beef 15 oz
- Tomatoes 4 pieces
- Onion 2 heads
- Wheat Flour to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Herbs to taste
- Mayonnaise 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the eggplants lengthwise into pieces about 5–6 mm thick, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2
Chop the tomatoes and onion, sauté in vegetable oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Prepare the filling, season with salt and pepper. Let it rest for a while.
Step 4
Beat one egg, dip each slice of eggplant into the egg, then into the flour, and fry on both sides in vegetable oil.
Step 5
Grease a baking dish with oil, layer the ingredients: eggplants, meat filling, tomatoes with onions, and so on. The last layer should be eggplants.
Step 6
Beat the remaining eggs with salt and mayonnaise, pour over the filling and eggplants. Bake for about 35 minutes until a golden crust forms.
