Mashed Potatoes with Nutmeg and Green Onions
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 0 lbs
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
- Scallions 1 bunch
- Garlic 3 heads
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water.
Step 2
In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add 3 cloves of garlic, and pour in the milk to your liking. Remove the garlic when it softens. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Step 3
Drain the potatoes, add salt, put in a teaspoon of butter, and mash with a potato masher. Pour in the mixture of butter and milk, and whip into a puree. Pour in the rest of the mixture, mash again, and whip.
Step 4
Finely chop the green onions and stir them into the puree.
