Mashed Potatoes with Garlic Oil
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 30 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Olive Oil 8 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the garlic and cut it in half lengthwise. Place the garlic in a small pot, pour in the olive oil, and set it on low heat for 1 hour to soften the garlic.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Place the potatoes in a steamer, add a dessert spoon of salt, cover with a lid, and steam until soft, about 20-25 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the potatoes, dry them. Mash them with a mixer, mixing in half of the garlic oil. Stir well, pour in the remaining half of the garlic oil, and whip until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
