Marinated mozzarella cheese with avocado
Ingredients
- Avocado 1 piece
- Melted Cheese 5 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Basil 18 leaves
- Scallions 0 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Ocean salt 1 teaspoon
- English Dry Mustard 1 teaspoon
- Champagne Vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil 5 teaspoons
- Chives 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the mozzarella into 5 mm thick slices. Cut the avocado into thin slices. Alternate layering the mozzarella and avocado slices so that the edges overlap.
Step 2
Cut the bell pepper and basil into thin strips. Use the strips to garnish the avocado and mozzarella slices.
Step 3
Crush the garlic in a mortar with salt, add the mustard powder and a generous amount of freshly ground pepper. Combine this mixture with vinegar, olive oil, and finely chopped chives.
Step 4
Before dressing the salad, mix the dressing very well, then cover the dressed dish with foil and leave it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve with ciabatta.
