Ingredients

  • Garlic 30 cloves
  • Olive Oil ¼ cup
  • Horseradish Leaves 5 fl oz
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Thick Beef Rib 5 lbs

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 2

In a small ovenproof dish, combine unpeeled garlic cloves and olive oil. Cover with foil and bake for about 35 minutes, until the garlic starts to turn light brown. Drain the oil into a food processor. Slightly cool the garlic, peel it, and transfer it to the oil. Add horseradish and salt and blend until smooth.

Step 3

Season the ribs with salt and pepper, spread the garlic mixture on one side, and place them with the coated side down. Spread the remaining mixture on top, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate the tray for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Place the tray with the ribs in the oven for about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Then transfer to a plate and let rest for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Slice the ribs. Heat the juices from the tray and drizzle over the top.
