Manti with minced meat and pumpkin
Ingredients
- Unleavened dough 0 lbs
- Pork Mince 20 oz
- Pumpkin 20 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Onion 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Knead the dough without eggs and make it not too thick for better rolling. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Take mixed minced meat, or lamb, depending on preference.
Step 3
Grate the pumpkin on a coarse grater.
Step 4
Sauté the onion with the pumpkin lightly in butter. Let it cool.
Step 5
Mix with raw minced meat, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Roll out the dough thinly, cut into squares, place the prepared mixed filling in the center. Pinch opposite corners together, sealing the sides to create a pattern resembling an infinity symbol on top.
Step 7
Cook in a steamer for 1 hour.
