  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Water 5 fl oz
  • Salt 2 teaspoons
  • Wheat Flour 3 cups
  • Ground meat 15 oz
  • Onion 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sift the wheat flour through a fine sieve. Add salt (1 teaspoon) to the flour. Mix the dry ingredients, forming a well in the center.

Crack the egg into the well.

Step 3

Then gradually pour in the cooled boiled water in two to three additions.

Step 4

Knead the dough for homemade manti. It should be elastic and firm, not sticking to your hands. While preparing the filling, wrap the dough in plastic wrap or place it in a plastic bag.

Step 5

Prepare the filling as per the recipe (meat filling with onion, you can also use cottage cheese or vegetables with herbs).

Step 6

Mix the ground meat with finely chopped onion, and add salt (about 0.5 teaspoons).

Step 7

Shape the manti and steam them (for about 40 minutes).
