  • Mackerel 2 pieces
  • Sour Cream 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the fish, make a cut along the belly. Remove the bones and spine, carefully slicing the flesh with a knife. Peel off the thin skin covering the fish and carefully cut off the dorsal fins, ensuring the fins remain connected. Rinse again thoroughly.

Step 2

Salt and pepper both sides. Spread sour cream on top and let it sit for about 20 minutes.

Step 3

Beat the egg and spread it over the surface of the fillet. Shake off any excess egg before frying.

Step 4

Fry the schnitzel in a well-heated pan with vegetable oil on both sides. Serve on individual plates. Garnish with potatoes or rice.
