Lobster in Garlic Butter

Ingredients

  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 1½ teaspoons
  • Lobster tails 2 pieces
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Ocean salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 430°F.

Step 2

Chop the garlic and crush it in a mortar with 0.5 teaspoon of salt, then mix with parsley and butter.

Step 3

Place the lobsters in a large pot of boiling salted water, cover with a lid, and cook for 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate and let sit for 5 minutes (the lobster should not be fully cooked).

Step 4

Gently crack the shell, cut the lobster in half lengthwise, and remove the innards. Take the meat from the tail of one lobster and cut it into 8 pieces. Place 2 tablespoons of garlic butter in the empty shell and spread it out, then place the meat on top and add another tablespoon of butter. Repeat the same with the other lobster. Distribute the remaining butter over the shells. Transfer to heatproof plates.

Step 5

Preheat the grill in the oven and place the plates underneath for about 4-5 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
