Lobio with Pork
Ingredients
- Chinese green beans 10 oz
- Marbled Beef 5 oz
- Duck Fat 1 tablespoon
- Toasted Sesame 1½ tablespoons
- Soy Sauce 1½ tablespoons
- Worcestershire Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Mixed Ground Peppers to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the duck fat in a deep skillet.
Step 2
Add the green beans and stir. Season with soy sauce.
Step 3
After 2 minutes, stir again and add Worcestershire sauce.
Step 4
Season with pepper and reduce the heat.
Step 5
After 3–4 minutes, stir again.
Step 6
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and simmer for another 3 minutes.
Step 7
Meanwhile, place thin slices of meat on a dry, hot skillet.
Step 8
Season with the mixed peppers and salt. Sear on both sides over medium heat until lightly browned.
Step 9
Cut the meat into strips.
Step 10
Add it to the beans, then stir. Adjust salt if necessary.
Step 11
Transfer to a deep dish and serve.
