Liver Pastries with Vegetables
Ingredients
- Veal Liver 5 lbs
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Carrot to taste
- Onion 1 head
- Salt to taste
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the liver from membranes and veins, and grind it in a meat grinder or blender. Add eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Fry the liver pancakes. Next, sauté the onion and carrot. Do not add salt or pepper.
Step 2
Lay the pancakes in a circle and start making the 'pastries'.
Step 3
Spread mayonnaise on top, then add the carrot-onion mixture.
Step 4
Cover with a second pancake. Make as many layers as you like, spreading them and adding filling in between.
