Liver in Spicy Sauce
Ingredients
- Veal Liver 25 oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Onion 1 head
- Spiced Tomato Juice 10 fl oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves 5 tablespoons
- Ocean salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Red Long Chili Peppers to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the liver from the membrane, rinse, and cut into small pieces. Dredge in flour and fry in oil together with the sliced onion. Add finely chopped pepper, pour in the tomato juice, 120 ml of water, and lemon juice. Cover and simmer for 5-8 minutes.
Step 2
Serve with boiled potatoes, sprinkled with chopped herbs.
