Linguine with Mushrooms, Garlic, and Sage
Ingredients
- Linguine pasta 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Champignon Mushrooms 10 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Dried Chili Pepper a pinch
- Chopped Sage Leaves to taste
- Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Grated Parmesan cheese 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the linguine. Heat the butter in a skillet, add the mushrooms, and sauté until soft, golden brown, and almost all the liquid has evaporated.
Step 2
Add the garlic and chili and sauté for another 2-3 minutes, then add the sage and sauté for another minute. Season well with salt.
Step 3
Drain the pasta, reserving about ½ cup of the pasta cooking water.
Step 4
Transfer the pasta to the skillet with the mushrooms, pour in the lemon juice, add the cheese, and add enough reserved pasta water to create a saucy consistency.
Step 5
Mix well and serve.
