Ingredients
- Water 15 fl oz
- Lentils 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Carrot 1 piece
- Dill 1 stem
- Black Cumin (Cumin) 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric a pinch
- Ocean salt a pinch
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Red Long Chili Peppers a pinch
- Narshehab sauce to taste
- Corn Salad 1 bunch
- Cilantro 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For each cup of lentils, use double the amount of water, add the lentils along with large pieces of carrot, and cook for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Add cumin, a pinch of coriander, salt, and turmeric, and let it simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes.
Step 3
To the portion of lentils, add oil, salad greens, dill, pepper, and narsharab sauce to taste.
