Ingredients
- Lentils 5 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Onion 2 heads
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Tomato Paste 5 oz
- Cream 4 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the lentils. Rinse the lentils and cover with water at a ratio of 1 cup of lentils to 2 cups of water. Add salt to taste. Place on high heat. After boiling, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the lentils for about 30-35 minutes.
Step 2
Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan.
Step 3
Add the tomato paste to the pan; if necessary, the paste can be diluted with water.
Step 4
Add the cream and pepper to taste. Simmer for a bit.
Step 5
You can add herbs.
