Lentils with Curry and Ginger

Ingredients

  • Lentils 15 oz
  • Grated Ginger Root 0 oz
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
  • Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Red Curry Powder 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Dice the onion, crush the garlic, grate the ginger root, and sauté them in a pan.

Step 2

Wash the chili pepper, cut it lengthwise into 4 parts, remove the seeds and veins to make it less spicy, then dice it.

Step 3

Rinse the lentils, cover them with cold water (1:1), place on the stove, and after boiling, add the sautéed mixture and chili pepper. Cook at a gentle boil for 18–25 minutes, depending on the type of lentils.

Step 4

Once the lentils are cooked, add the curry, mix, plate, drizzle with olive oil, and serve.
