Lentil Zrazy with Tofu

Ingredients

  • Lentils 1 cup
  • Onion 5 heads
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Herbs 1 bunch
  • Tofu 5 oz
  • Breadcrumbs 1 cup

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Chop the onion and sauté it in vegetable oil, adding salt to the oil beforehand. Add finely chopped garlic and spices.

Step 2

Blend the lentils (previously soaked for at least 10 hours), herbs, sautéed onion, salt, and pepper into a mince.

Step 3

Cut the tofu into strips.

Step 4

Place a portion of the mince in your palm and add a strip of tofu. Shape it into a patty and coat it in breadcrumbs.

Step 5

Fry on both sides in vegetable oil until golden brown.
